ELASTOSIL® M 4503: Due to its good mechanical properties of the cured material as well as its high resistance to polyester resins, it is particularly suitable as a mold-making material for reproducing models with very pronounced undercuts in polyester resins. Other materials, such as plaster or wax, may also be cast without any problems from molds made of ELASTOSIL® M 4503.

Other Epoxies include adhesives, coating systems, casting systems and laminating systems that you may not know about.

EnviroTex Lite – A water clear epoxy system. It cures to a thick, glossy coating in about 8 hours at 22°C, and reaches full strength and toughness in about 48 hours. This durable, resilient material requires no polishing to produce a high gloss. One coat is all that is usually required for a deep attractive finish, however, two or more coats maybe applied one over the other by simply wiping the surface with a clean cloth and alcohol prior to re-coating.

FR251 – General purpose low viscosity laminating/coating systems – also great for filling cracks and gum veins in timber burls.

Rapid Cure – High viscosity, solvent free epoxy adhesive used to provide thin film or glue joint gelation in approximately four minutes at 25°C. Bonds soft & hard woods, particle board, custom wood, Formica, glass, leather, ceramics, most metals including stainless steel and some plastics. Small laminations with fibreglass cloths are also possible.

G/Flex – Toughened, versatile, liquid epoxy adhesive. Permanent waterproof bonding of fibreglass, ceramics, superior grip to aluminium and other metals, PLASTICS, damp and difficult-to-bond woods.

FR100 – is a user friendly adhesive particularly suitable for bonding structural elements fabricated from concrete, timber and metal (ferrous and non-ferrous). One to one – liquid adhesive – 24 hour

FR1510 - is a solvent free, low viscosity Clear epoxy casting resin formulated to cure at room temperature to produce optically-clear castings. With low heat generation, in quantities up to 1 litre, FR1510 is suitable for applications requiring a rigid, clear finished castings that have negligible shrinkage and are very hard and strong. FR1510 has a resistance to amine blush and will cure to a clear finish. It is recommendation is for Indoor Use ONLY as cured castings will yellow after being exposed to UV light. Often used for timber “River Tables”.

ATL Epoxy Systems

Rapid Cure Epoxy Adhesive
5 to 7 minute cure. 250ml, 500ml, 2-litre and 8-litre. Pumps are also available for 2-litre and 8-litre packs.

Techniglue
12 hour cure gel adhesive for marine, furniture, hobbies, woodturning and a million other uses. Available with a fast or slow hardener – 750ml, 1.5-litre, 6-litre and 30-litre packs “This is the greatest!”

Techniglue R5 High Performance
Techniglue R5 has outstanding toughness and resistance to micro-cracking. This proprietary blend overcomes a general deficiency in metal surface bond strength and offers up to a massive 30-fold increase in peel strength.

Vinylester Resins

These are renowned for their chemical resistance and are used wherever there is chemical attack. Vinylester resins use MEKP Slow Release catalyst. Available in sizes 0.5kg, 1kg, 2kg, 4kg and 23kg

Polyester Resins

These are the most common, cheapest and easiest to use. Polyester resin uses MEKP catalyst.

High Grade General Purpose – (Ortho) laminating resin. Available in sizes 0.5kg, 1kg,2kg,4kg,10kg and 20kg.

Water Clear Casting Resin – (for embedding all sorts of things). Available in sizes 0.5kg, 1kg, 2kg, 4kg, 10kg and 20kg.

Polyester Gelcoat Repair Putty - A white putty for repairing chips in Gelcoat. Available in a 400gm kit

Natural Brushing Gelcoat – (also spraying grade available). Available in sizes 0.5kg, 1kg, 2kg, 4kg and 22.5kg.

White Brushing Gelcoat – (spraying grade also available). Available in sizes 0.5kg, 1kg, 2kg, 4kg and 25kg.

Topcoat White and Natural – (ISO brushing and spraying). Available in sizes 0.5kg, 1kg, 2kg, 4kg and 25kg.
